Welcome to my home page.

I teach philosophy of science, and other things. My Ërdos number is, as far as I know, 5 (Ërdos -> Schelp -> Gudder -> Cattaneo -> Bacciagaluppi -> me).

In addition to teaching and research, I spend my time running, rock climbing, and playing disc golf. I am also trying to learn classical guitar.

My current research is focused on the relationship between science and metaphysics, and the thorny meta-philosophical issues surrounding the epistemology of metaphysics. I am now editing the journal Philosophy of Science, which, for the moment, occupies most of my waking hours, and some of my sleeping hours.
